Big Audacious Conversation About Competency-Based Education

I just returned from our winter Assessment, Teaching, and Learning (ATL) retreat, where faculty, institutional researchers, and administrators spent a heady 24 hours playing both the believing and the doubting game around competency-based education (CBE).

As synchronicity would have it, this morning, I received an e-mail from the WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies (WCET) announcing its Big Audacious Conversation About Competency-Based Education on March 13th at 11AM MDT.
